Da Vinci Eye makes an application that turns your phone into a Camera Lucida. I use it for the initial contour sketch. It’s not cheating.

The Black Moor Telescope eye Goldfish was developed in China in the early 1400’s. They call it “Dragon Eye”. In the 1700’s, they began breeding them in Japan. Much of how we farm catfish comes from techniques developed to breed ornamental goldfish. Their lifespan is between five and twenty-five years. Considered a good starter pet for children, a really magnificent specimen like this one could cost around $1,100, but most are more around the $5 range.

Moors are a race of indigenous muslims in North Africa. The most famous Moor would be Shakespeare’s Othello.

A friend asked me to paint more. So I paint or draw once a day, with at least two paintings a week. The more you create, the more you create. I think she knew that. She’s a lot smarter than me. The increase in my painting output has brought on a remarkable increase in my writing output. If I could play piano, I’d probably do it more, too.
