Dear Subscriber,

Since I started with Substack, they’ve been after me to set up my page for payments. Lately, they’ve been insistent. Since this is how they pay their bills, I felt obligated to go ahead and do it. This weekend, we went live with their payment system. If you signed up for payments, they should be processed now.

I tested the system on myself a few times to ensure it was easy to use and straightforward. If you have any problems or want a refund for any reason, please let me know.

All of my content is free. It will always be free. My page takes payments strictly just as donations to help defray the costs of maintaining the page. No one is obligated to pay, and payment doesn’t grant you any special privileges, other than my thanks.

I’ve really enjoyed being part of Substack and have learned a great deal from the other writers here. I hope it’s been a pleasant experience for you as well. Thank you for your support and especially for taking the time to read the words I write.

Sincerely,

Boyd
