Glad I found you and learned so much about “Little Jim” and family. It was always Little Jim and Little Evelyn. I went to Bethel every year from the beginning of time until I married in 1973. My mother brought fried chicken, ambrosia and a fresh fruit salad. Sis (Aunt Annie) brought several cakes. She always made a German chocolate one for me. So many good memories of homecoming at Bethel and a drive by Hesterville. I actually met someone in Little Rock from Hesterville!
I guess you know I’m the cousin who was awarded the Founders Medal!
I've known that for fifty years!

When your mom and Annie died, it wasn't as good. The next generation tried, but they couldn't cook like that.
